“Field Trip to Pages Books”
Please plan to bring your partner, co-worker or significant other for this Friday evening gathering. We’ve planned a semi-social event in the cooler climate of Cave Creek. Enjoy wine and a light dinner, tour the bookstore, and hear from the store manager her insights on working with independent booksellers. What do they like to see from small presses? How’s the best way to approach an independent bookseller? What information do they need in order to consider your book(s)?
We invite you to take this time to relax and enjoy our neighboring community while networking with your publishing community.

Travel to the event is only thru 2 roads: Cave Creek Road and Scottsdale Road/Tom Darlington (Scottsdale Rd. turns in to Tom Darlington after crossing Carefree Hwy.
Going either route you have to cross Carefree Highway (this is where speed becomes an issue)
Cave Creek Rd. – after crossing Carefree Hwy. the speed changes from 45-30 in a half a mile, the sign for 30 mph is conveniently right across the street from the Sheriff’s office. Average speed in Cave Creek is 30 mph
Scottsdale Rd./Tom Darlington – after crossing Carefree Hwy. the speed limit goes very quickly from 45 to 25 mph, there is usually a patrol car lurking at or just before the 25 mph sign. Average speed in Carefree is 25 mph.
Stage Coach Village is pretty much “on” the border between Cave Creek and Carefree.
