lyndaexley.jpgWhen Lynda Exley was 8 years old, she started her first neighborhood newspaper. It was hand printed on sheets of scrap paper with pictures colored in crayon. Today, Lynda is a multiple, national award-winning journalist and editor for the SanTan Sun News and Arizona Parenting magazine. She also develops marketing and publicity plans for Five Star Publications, a publishing company that supports traditional, partnership and self-published authors. cover-zombieisland.jpg Though having spent close to 14 years freelance writing and editing for local and regional publications, Lynda refined her public relations skills during a stint as community relations coordinator for Borders Bookstore and at “ground zero” promoting her son’s book, The Student From Zombie Island, which was published by Five Star and sold 1,500 copies in the first five months of publication. She is also cofounder of Kids Can Publish University.

She is the author of Life to the Max: Maxims for a Great Life by a Dog named Max and she is the Head Noodler of her company, NICE Creative, which is a creative marketing and branding agency and the publisher of her book.
